Mandatory Kit
Top 3 VMM Runners will have mandatory kit inspections.
Other kit inspections are carried out at random.
Lack of mandatory kit will result in disqualification.
RACE BIBS
You must race with your own race bib. If you run with another person’s bib and you have not formally transferred that bib with the organiser, you will be disqualified. Moreover, if you run with another person’s bib you endanger yourself and others as the organiser will not have your medical records or your emergency contact.

MANDATORY KIT

- 1.0L liquid carrying capacity
- Food for the duration of the run
- Strong head lamp
- Spare batteries for lamp (rechargeable headlamps exempt)
- Secondary / back up light/torch (100k runners only)
- Waterproof jacket, with hood, sufficient to keep you dry in case of heavy rain (i.e not a windproof-only jacket)
- Second top layer (long sleeve)
- Headwear (hat/cap/buff)
- Survival blanket / space blanket
- Whistle
- Mobile phone
- Basic first aid kit

42km and 21km
