Two well known companies in Vietnam took the Company Cup Honours at VTM – Shopee and Hong Ngoc.
At every Vietnam Trail Series race, Topas awards two company cups: one for the top performance of a club overall (the Performance Cup), and another for the most kilometers completed (the Distance Cup)
The Distance Cup
Team Shopee made it back-to-back victories, taking home the Distance Cup for the second time having already won it at last year’s final Vietnam Trail Series race, VMM 2019. The Shopee team once again completed more mountain running than any other company run club at VTM 2020, clocking up 1,444 km.
“It is thanks to our board of management, especially our CEO Mr. Tran Tuan Anh and HR Manager Ms.Tracey Do who always encourage us to actively join in outdoor activities like Vietnam Trail Series races,” said Khuong Tran, a Shopee team member.
The Performance Cup
Big congratulations also go to Hong Ngoc Team, winner of the VTM2020 Company Performance Cup.
The Hong Ngoc Team achieved the highest average number of VTS points which are allocated based on runner ranking.
Hong Ngoc Hospital has been the professional medical partner on all VTS races for two seasons, gaining a reputation as a strong unit, going well beyond their medical brief to help runners at checkpoints out on course.
“We are delighted to present the Performance Cup to Hong Ngoc,” said David Lloyd, Director of Sport at Topas. “At every race, the Hong Ngoc medical team is there until midnight with our crew at the finish line, showing their stamina and dedication. This Performance Cup is recognition that they have a strong team not only in the workplace, but also on the mountain trails.”
