1. Why is VMM 2020 Postponed? 

Due to the recent change in the covid-19 situation in Vietnam, the authorities of Lao Cai have requested we move VMM to a later date in 2020. 

 

2. When is the new date?

November 20, 21, 22 2020. 

 

3. Are refunds available?

We will extend the 50% refund policy to one month before the new date (i.e. Oct 20, one month before Nov 20).

(ORIGINAL 50% refund policy: You can get 50% refund of the total payment if you advise us and confirm by email within 3 months to 1 month prior to the race date (original race date: 19/09/2020). For total payment less than $100, you can get a full refund of the total payment minus $50 administration fee.)

The full refund period for VMM 2020 has passed. This will remain in effect – no full refunds can be given. 

 

4. Can I transfer my slot for the new race date to someone else? 

Yes, you can do so, free of charge for the first transfer. Packages can also be transferred. The last date to do this is one month before race day – 20 October 2020.

5. Can I transfer my slot to VMM 2021?

Yes you can. Free of charge. Please email us by Oct 20 if you wish to take this option: info@vietnammountainmarathon.com.

Refund policy for VMM 2021 transfers: extend 50% refund policy (full policy) to 1 month before 2021 race day.

Note: entries cannot be transferred to other Vietnam Trail Series races. 

 

6. Will VMM change in any other way?

We will put covid-19 relevant procedures in place for VMM 2020. More information will follow closer to the race date.
