When we met with the local authorities back in June, Topas made a committment to construct a new bridge over a potentially complicated river crossing. Here is that bridge under construction and it’s current state today.
Locals moved rocks to build the bridge
This new bridge makes access across this river safe for locals and runners alike when water levels rise. It will be used on our sister race, Topas Riverside Run.
