Funds from Vietnam Jungle Marathon 2019 were recently used to support the June mission of Operation Smile Vietnam which has brought smiles to about 113 patients out of 201 screened patients including 42 from Thanh Hoa province.
28 of them were operated on already and four will be operated on at the end of June.
The mission was organized from June 10 – 14 at Vietnam – Cuba Friendship Hospital.
It is the result of VJM2019 runners who raised VND 317,515,000 for charitable activities in Thanh Hoa. Funds from VJM2019 will continue to bring more smiles for Vietnamese people.
Over the years VTS participants have contributed tens of thousands of dollars to help Operation Smile conduct many life changing operations.
