Good news for all Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc® (UTMB) points seekers – Vietnam Trail Marathon is now an official UTMB qualifying race!
The points are the following:
70 Km = 3 points
42 Km = 2 points
This is not just a great opportunity for our runners to gain points and hopefully to join UTMB race, but also a recognition of VTM quality (and difficulty) as a trail race.
“Vietnam’s top ultra runner Quang Tran used VJM and VMM as qualifiers for Ultra Trail Mont Blanc. Now VTM can help more Vietnamese plus our large field of international runners fulfill their dream of running UTMB” said Director of Sport, David Lloyd
(1) A qualifying race is a race which allows, according to its difficulty, the acquisition of between 1 and 6 qualification points. Only trail races can be qualifying races.
