SAFETY INFO

Distance: 5.2km | Elevation gain 50m

Race Start: 9:00, Saturday, 08-03-2025

Start & Finish location: Sân Cộng Đồng Bản Lác – Google maps

CUT-OFF: 12:00 at FINISH

Age restriction: Entrants must be at least 6 years old on the race date.

For 5km entrants under 16 years old, parents/guardians must sign the consent form for race pack collection. Race entrants under 16 must run along with the guardian (register separately).

Course description

This beautiful and relatively flat 5km route is ideal for families and newbies, offering a chance to explore Mai Chau’s beautiful landscapes and local culture together.

Soon after the start in Lac village, you will run through beautiful rice paddies. The course then heads onto a small, rocky trail which is a good introduction to technical trails. You will then join up with the longer ditsnace runners for a section. Then you pass through another small, pretty village with traditional stilt houses. Your route finishes in the heart of the Lac village, where you can enjoy the music, fire, food and the good trail vibes our races are famous for.

5km VUM - Kid run VUM

Distance: 5,2km | Elevation gain 50m

Start time: 8:30, Saturday, 23-03-2024

Start & Finish location: Sân lửa trại bản Lác, Mai Chau – Google maps

COT: Finish 5,2km at 12:00

Age Restriction: Entrants must be at least 6 years old on the race date. For 5km entrants under 16 years old, parents/guardians must sign the consent form for race pack collection. Race entrants under 16 must run along with the guardian.

Finish Bag

01 bag/runner. Hand in/Pick up at the START/FINISH.

Please prepare your own bag. Bags must be sealed/closed. Do not include valuables – the organiser cannot be held responsible for any loss. BRING your luggage tag (given at the race pack collection), we will staple it for you.

MANDATORY EQUIPMENT

Top 3 VUM Runners will have mandatory kit inspections. 
Other kit inspections are carried out at random, including at the start line. 
Lack of mandatory kit will result in disqualification (DSQ) or time penalty. 

Refusal of kit check = DSQ 

Please note we disqualified runners at every event in the past year for lacking kit. Be prepared and carry what you need.
