Stunning race photography from VJM

Describing the incredible beauty of Pu Luong through the written word is hard, but fortunately we welcomed a host of talented photographers who showcased this area in all its grandeur, creating lifelong memories for the runners of Vietnam Jungle Marathon

Photographer: Van Ngo

This series of 6 photographs by Van Ngo reveal the beauty of Vietnam Jungle Marathon, beginning with three stunning flycam shots of the start area villages, Ban Leo and Ban Don. The following three photographs show the bamboo raft bridge after checkpoint 1; the valley of Kho Muong close to checkpoint 7; and lastly the beautiful final valley that brings runners to the VJM finish.

Photographer: Hiếu Trần

These four images were shot on the peak of the first major climb on our 70km Vietnam Jungle Marathon ultra route. The first runners arrived there at dawn, and Hieu was ready to capture these beautiful images, including our two champions (Tien Vo in green and Trang Tran in the red vest).

Having shot this area many years ago for Vietnam Jungle Marathon, Khuong returned again to capture the majestic limestone ringed valley of Kho Muong, close to Checkpoint 7.
