After Ultra Trail Cape Town, the final race in the 12 event World Trail Majors series, the 2025 champions have been decided.

 

Caleb Olson and Sunmaya Budha win the long distance category.

 

Fuzhao Xiang and Jianjian Yang are World Trail Majors Short Series champions for 2025!

 

Fuzhao and Jianjian’s wins at Vietnam Mountain Marathon 50km contributed to their overall titles, along with emphatic performances at Hong Kong 100 and Mt.FUJI 100.

 

Caleb Olson’s Transgrancanaria and GPT100 Miler victories put him in the top spot. Sunmaya’s emphatic victories at Hong Kong 100 and Ultra Trail Cape Town gave her the title, which she adds to her second place at the World Champs in 2025.

 

2025 was the first year VMM was part of this series and we are excited for what lies ahead in next season.

We will kick off 2026 by taking the top 4 Vietnamese runners from VMM to Hong Kong 100. Let’s see if Vietnam can shake up these leaderboards next year! Let’s go!
