Last month, funds from Vietnam Mountain Marathon 2020 were used to support Operation Smile Vietnam to provide facial surgery for 50 children born with facial deformities.
The operation mission was organised from 14 Dec to 18 Dec at the 108 Central Military Hospital.
50 patients from 15 provinces including Lao Cai, home of VMM, received surgery as a result of the VMM2020 runners who together donated VND 103,815,000 for Operation Smile Vietnam through their race entry fees.
