Vietnam Jungle Marathon will once again be a UTMB qualifying race this year.
VJM2019 runners will receive the following points:
70km = 3 points
55km = 2 points
42km = 2 points
25km = 1 points

(1) A UTMB qualifying race is a race which allows, according to its difficulty, the acquisition of between 1 and 6 qualification points. Only trail races can be qualifying races.
(2) The Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (also referred to as UTMB) is a single-stage mountain ultra marathon.
It takes place once a year on either the last weekend in August or the first weekend of September in the Alps, and follows the route of the Tour du Mont Blanc through France, Italy and Switzerland. It has a distance of approximately 166 kilometres (103 mi), and a total elevation gain of around 9,600 m.
- To register for the UTMB®, it is necessary to have a minimum of 15 points from a maximum of 3 races.
