In Sapa, we have been assessing the situation over the past days. We at Topas and the authorities had hoped we would be able to organise the event following the storm, but the situation here continues to develop. It has become impossible for us to go ahead with VMM while Lao Cai remains in a state of natural disaster emergency. 

On a personal level, we would also like to share that Lao Cai is the home of many of the VMM team and where Topas began in Vietnam. Many race crew, friends and family have been directly impacted by the events here.

𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱

This year, all of our VMM charity funds are being allocated to the Lao Cai area for recovery after the typhoon.
We will post details soon about how you can also contribute via VMM to the recovery effort.
