Our races are about much more than running. Since Vietnam Mountain Marathon began, charity has been an integral part of our work. This same philosophy then continued with Vietnam Trail Marathon, Vietnam Jungle Marathon and Vietnam Ultra Marathon.  

The combined total for all Topas Vietnam Trail Series races has now reached more than USD 500,000 (almost VND13 billion) in cash.  

We have also given over VND 2.3 billion (over USD 94,000) in bibs to charity.  

Much has been achieved with this money:  

• School buildings have been constructed   
• Houses of poor people have been upgraded  
• Families impacted by storm Yagi have been supported (this work is on-going) 
• Bridges have been constructed 
• Drowning prevention programs have been funded (Hue Help) 
• Neonatal doctors and nurses have received training (Newborns Vietnam) 
• Life saving equipment for babies has been provided (via Newborns Vietnam) 
• Children with cleft palate have had surgery (Operation Smile) 
• Families and children in hardship have been supported (Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation) 
• Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation kids and staff have been fully supported with weekends away at our races, creating memories for a lifetime… and much more. 

Alongside all this, much awareness has been raised for our charity partners. Many runners have gone on to become supporters and ambassadors of these great causes, not only at our races, but throughout the year.
