Blue Dragon’s Success Story: Ti’s Journey from the Streets to a Brighter Future
Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation is one of the official charity partners of the Vietnam Trail Series.We are proud to share one of Blue Dragon’s remarkable success stories – the journey of Ti, a young boy who transformed his life through courage, opportunity, and the support of the Blue Dragon team.
A long time ago, Ti was a street child struggling to survive each day, trying to make a living on the streets of the Tay Ho area. Everything changed when Blue Dragon staff reached out and offered him support. At the safe shelter provided by Blue Dragon, Ti finally found a place to call home – a place where he could rest, feel protected and begin to dream again.
With Blue Dragon’s encouragement, Ti returned to school. The journey wasn’t easy – there were moments of doubt and many obstacles along the way – but Ti never gave up. With resilience and the unwavering support of his social workers, he kept moving forward.
Now, a new chapter is about to begin. Early next year, Ti will receive the Langsport Scholarship to travel to Australia to strengthen his English and soft skills – a remarkable milestone for someone who once had no access to education. He is also an active member of the Blue Dragon Youth Leadership Team, where he shares his story, ideas, and initiatives to inspire other kids who are walking a similar path.
