He says: “This will be my first time in Vietnam and I am very excited to see the beautiful trails of Sapa and meet the running community there. This year I have already scored a win in the World Trail Majors Short Series at the Mt.FUJI 100 Asumi 40k, so I am hoping to secure a top overall series ranking through my performance at Vietnam Mountain Marathon 50km.”

 

Demonstrating his ability across the distances, Guangfu also took the win at the Hong Kong 100 (100km) as part of the World Trail Majors in January. Beside those titles, Guangfu has claimed countless wins including the Huangyan Jiufeng Trail Master Challenge 2025 and Ultra-Trail Ninghai by UTMB 2024.
