SUP Paddling in Paradise Cape

(Pu Luong Nature Reserve – Mai Chau – Da Bac - Hanoi)

Take the scenic route back to Hanoi from Moc Chau with this stand-up paddle board expedition. Head to a serene lake in the Mai Chau Valley and paddle to a lakeside temple to the backdrop of rolling hills. Enjoy refreshing swims and spend the night with a local Thai family in a lake-facing wooden stilt house before returning to Hanoi.

Day 1: Moc Chau town to Paradise Cape

Pick up in Moc Chau town and descend into the Mai Chau Valley, a quilt of rice paddies dotted with jungle-topped hills. Head to Hoa Binh Lake and familiarise yourself with the stand-up paddle board – your mode of transport for the rest of the day. Paddle towards Doi Co Temple right on the lakeside, having lunch on the support boat along the way. Then head to Da Bac Village, a small community of Thai families that live in stilt houses right on the lakeside. Overnight and dinner with a local family.

Part 2: The Train Track Arches and Botanical Gardens
